The Armored Support Transport (AST), known as mech and as the XS1 Goliath in Multiplayer, is a heavy armor/robotic suit with a minigun mounted on it's right arm.
It is operated by a soldier, who enters it from the back.
The AST is equipped with a Minigun, Swarm Missiles, and Micro Rockets. It can be seriously difficult to take out the AST, as it is seriously armored.
