Trusty and Jock heard about the war and decided to join the heroes.

Trusty acted as a mentor to Patch, Collette, Lucky, Cadpig, Rolly and some others.
A Heroic Sacrifice[]
During a battle against Discord, Trusty defends Patch and Collette from Discord and lectures him for causing so much pain to others. Discord said to him that he WILL continue doing what he wanted to do no matter who or what stood in his way, so that one day, all would bow to him. But Trusty refused to bow to someone like Discord. Then he said this:
- Trusty: Kill me if you wish to, but know this: in the end, you WILL fail.
Showing no fear of Trusty's threat, Discord ultimately granted his wish. Despite his death, Trusty managed to help the young heroes escape. Trusty was honored as a true hero cause of his sacrifice.
