Mysterio

Mysterio is one of Spider-man's most prominent enemies. He uses tricks and illusions to commit his crimes.

LOTM: Monster Squad[]

Mysterio made a first appearance as one of the main villains in this story. He and the villains made an alliance to defeat our heroes.

To Live and/or Die in Loch Loud[]

Chapter 1[]

Mysterio played a role in Morag's plans to frame Lincoln and Lydia and making them into pariahs through his framework and illusion sorcerey on the two and Mysterio tells Morag he expects payment for his work and Morag hands him a treasure chest telling him he can count if he wants. Mysterio warns Morag that she may need him again and that their mutual ally may have him busy which she considers.

Chapter 3[]

After the Time stone is collected, Mysterio does show up again with Morag who reveals she has an ace in the hole in mind for her plans. Mysterio is shown by Morag her intent in mind RAY-03 a UG Metal Gear RAY built by the Desesperado

Mysterio questions how will that ultimately stop her enemies and he learns that Morag has acquired one from her attorney who put her in connection with it, and she has convinced that she is a friend and Lincoln and co are enemies. Morag asks Mysterio to use his incredible tech skills to make it look like Lincoln and Lydia set this thing to attack the town and Mysterio agrees.

Morag states that she is intenting a frame up plan and this thing is the way to go for it.

Chapter 4[]

On Morag's instructions, Mysterio makes the illusions of Lydia and Lincoln to use in regards to the Ray 03 and the duo direct the Ray-03 to attack the town as a power play and he decides to overexaggerated the attacks despite how castrophic the damage already is with his script which Sid stumbles into at night and she tries to warn the others about this. Mysterio puts a stop to this and uses temporary hallucinogens on Sid to get to on an acid trip as Mysterio continues the frame up job and hands Morag the script to read off to the masses.

However he is found out by Sid who is investigating this on her own accord due to being distracted by chasing a butterfly and Mysterio realizes Sid is part of Team Free Will and will rat him out to her friends after he drugged her. In an attempt to uphold the masquerade he tries to silence her with lasers and energy balls that he throws at Sid. Sid takes care of them with wand blasts of Rainbow Fist Punch spell and among a few more thrown at her by Mysterio, Sid decides that they need to be deflected and uses the Black Widow Calamity Cobweb spell to send it back to Mysterio and teleports down to the floor and illusionizes Sid down with him

Using more circles of energy on the floor on Sid to confuse her so he can attack her which he does and then hafter using more sets of circles, Sid strikes Mysterio again with the Rainbow Fist Punch spell which he decides to teleport again.

This becomes a basic pattern between and him until he is barely able to put a fight and he decides to use a forcefield to stop Sid from attacking him though she manages to get in and attack him with the Mega Mushroom Destruction Blast spell. Mysterio casts smoke and mirrors to distract Sid as he escapes.

Mysterio reveals back at the lair that his robotic doubles were the ones damaged but he really was damaged by the last spell and that he is trying to pull the mushrooms off his body as he is frustrated with being humiliated by a kid who thinks she's a wizard. He gets a call from The Thinker who has a bartering chip for him and Morag.

Mysterio and Morag both summon The Thinker and he presents something he found during his looks into the alien life that occurred from that attempt at ceasing power of an continent and it seems to be a black goo symbolite of some stuff

Morag has a plan on sight immediately and executes The Thinker with her powers making Mysterio flinch slightly as she cuts his neck with a box cutter.

Chapter 5[]

As Morag is using the black goo symbolite, he is between a little fasicated and a little disturbed with this as she is feeding people who "broke the law of Mclaughin" and this is making him flinch a little. While this is an andorid double, it's based on him and he programmed it to focus on what he would do and act.

The real one has his eyes on Lincoln, Linka, Lydia, Ford and Angus who are targetting the power stone. With this revealed, Morag and Aggie psychologically torment Lydia in the temple while he looks for leverage on Licnoln and realizes that Linka is a way here according to the boss's boss.

With the Android duplicate with Morag, the rest of the team is found by them. Wanting to get back at the Chang Kid, Mysterio decides to single her out and torture in a simliar way for humilating him earlier.

He has Sid deal with hallucations again and she is getting taunted once more by Mysterio for being in her own little world and getting her head bloated thinking she was even lucky to stop Mysterio once. Mysterio using his illusion like powers and imp like robots to make Sid see and feel real pain and she is attacked by them. Mysterio watches as he puts the young Chang through the wringer, Luz does manage to come through for her to use the wand to send Mysterio once again packing and in a way saves her friends from the Mclaughins,

Chapter 6[]

With Morag and Aggie having acquired the control of a dragon and with the Mclaughins planning an attack. Mysterio has managed to provides co-ordinates to set every attack for Morag to command the dragon with.

After he finishes his instructions to Morag, he places a call to an unknown part y and that he will follow through with what his contact has in mind. His contact tells Mysterio that he must insure of what he truly desires. Mysterio asks what does his real employer desires and he is told that in due time It will be revealed to him.

Mysterio is then contacted by Morag afterwards to guard with castle with Ratiskor against anyone who could help her targets. Mysterio agrees, though does intent to follow his true contract.

Finale[]

Mysterio and Ratiskor both act as the bouncers to Morag's castle and they go after Ford, Eda, Sid and King who all show the same intent to stop them and/or find Lincoln and Lydia. Mysterio once again is not intent with letting a kid get the drop on him. He decides to pursue Sid Chang once more and to get her and her little dog as well.

King dares him to do his worse, Mysterio obliges and uses his illusionary tricks on Sid again and tricks her with Ronnie Anne being in danger or being killed due to Sid's carelessness. Mysterio then pounds way at Sid using her vulerability, King tries to talk out of it even going so far to attack him by biting the man.

Mysterio's illusions break their hold on Sid and the duo get a powerful magic blast on the illusionist. Quentin thought had an other android duplicate set up before making his escape.

The Real Mysterio is found with none other than N.Tropy, Mysterio is revealed to be have working for N.Tropy like Morag. Mysterio ditched Morag realizing her insanity was determinatal and too much to handle. N.Tropy agrees that Morag was getting too out of hand and that she can't be trusted to deal with the kids.

Mysterio attempts to steer N.Tropy towards Sid, N Tropy still insists that Lydia and Lincoln are the targets and that he only put Morag up to this because of her hatred for them was as strong as his own. N.Tropy adds that she lacked the true patience of his plans and that she needed to go this is why he has recurited a new partner to serve his plans and Mysterio meets Nolan Greyson who N-Tropy has recurited.

Team Free Will: Disassembled[]

Chapter 1[]

Mysterio arrives at Nolan's door acting as the emissary of N.Tropy the mutual associate of both of them. Mysteerio is accepted into M.A.L.I.C.E with Nolan though he revals he wanted to join as soon as he found out the Chang Kid was in Team Free Will.

Wanting revenge on Sid, he head to Chicago with Nolan and his agents. He gets a halluncation and makes sure Sid breaths it to make her unable to thing for herself.

His plan nearly works as Sid is nearly killed by a car running her over. This is foiled by Eclpisa and King who were following her.

Eclpisa uses her magic to keep him in place and tells King to get Sid here. Mysterio points a gun at Sid and tries to shoot her which King gets her out of the way.

Eclpisa tries to find someway to break Sid out of the hallungen as King stalls Mysterio and as Mysterio is approaching Sid with intent to gas her. She eventualy does with caffienated coffee and Sid breaks out of the hallungen just in time to avoid Mysterio's gas. Eclpisa hands Sid the wand and uses it on him without saying a spell or anything. This oblireates the masked villain, though as the trio learn it was another decoy.

Mysterio admits to himself the kid is tougher than he thought and has more backup than he realized. He plans to himself after the decoy is exposed that he must get the others away from Sid so he can get the upper hand.

Chapter 2[]

Mysterio thinking back to his encounter with Sid, King and Eclipsa back in Illnois decides he that he must do something to get back at the 3 of them for ruining his plan to rid himself of the Chang Girl.

Consorting with Odival and The Archdruidness, he settles on stealing the weapon that Eclpisa is protecting Sid and her little pet to just that. Odival agrees to this and tells Quentin that he will get his desire.

Having sending them off with M.A.L.I.C.E members, Mysterio co-oprates with Killian for another side gig that gets the attention of Deathstroke and his associates

Him and Killian with the rest of M.A.L.I.C.E is smuggling weapons and securing locations to succesfully use this to maintain a sense of power and authority behind the scenes. Deathstroke retailates by sending in Lydia, Lincoln, Truman X, Ford, Larke, Bruce and Selina who despite being outnumbered manage to do disrupt the operations.

Mysterio and Killian decide to move their operations somewhere else upon doing research on Lydia who Killian suspects may be the problem to M.A.L.I.C.E's leader actual intents.

Chapter 3[]

Mysterio has King hostage and is revealed to have been in contact with Mina Loveberry as a way to lure Sid Chang into his trap, he also has Mina help out with getting rid of Sid as well. When his plan to trap her succeeds, he mocks and taunts her with Mina giving King to Odival and Archdruidness as they head to a portal

Heading to the Beverly Hills School, he with Steelbeak and Mina decide to wait for the others. Sid, Eclpisa, Larke and Lisa show up on them. Mysterio ponders who gave Eclpisa back her wand, and Mysterio decides he needs to go after both the teacher and student as they fight Mina Loveberry

Lisa however puts a stop to it with her and Sid's own robots, Where as many are fooled by Mysterio's duplicates, Lisa isn't fooled for a second and manages to wreck his andorid self and Lisa manages to fight through the illusions Mysterio tries to put on her.

The Real Mysterio finds Mina who suspects that kid isn't exactly what he told her. Mina stills instills interests due to the connection that kid has with Eclpisa who she herself wants to kill though looks down on her protectiveness to King who she refers as a monster.

Chapter 4[]

Mina and Mysterio are assigned to help Lurantis and Alpha on their mission heading to Flying Rhino Junior to go after Team Free Will which they are more then eager to do as they learn some of the kids are heading to a hopsital in Flying Rhino.

When Sid, Lisa, Burford, Luz, Anne, Molly, Hilda and King all continue their invasion and eventually manage to avoid being spotted by the Hopsital Monster and this is when Mysterio, Alpha, Lurantis and Mina are all there too. The Villains states that this is where they went as Nolan had them tracked in this regards and that they need to be distracted. Mina and Mysterio can both sense magic and both Sid and Luz get worried though they are calmed down by Burford who promises he won't let them be hurt. Molly and King both also note this too

Molly, Luz, Lisa, Sid, Anne, HIlda and King all escape but fall right into the clutchs of them. Alpha and Lurantis all attack the kids and Alpha decides to use them as bait for the Hopsital Monster. Mysterio and Mina decide to spefically use Sid and King as bait

Sid uses her wand to break her and King out of the cage Quentin and Mina set up and ask Quetnin and Mina attempt to attack him. Sid has King attack Quentin and fights Mina again trying to make sure Eclpisa doesn't suffer under Mina. Lisa and Hilda join them in dealing with the two with HIlda helping King with Mysterio as she doesn't want to see King hurt. Lisa and Sid both manage to gain the upper hand on Mina with science and magic respectfully. Mina does screw with them and attacks both of them

This is when The Hopsital monster shows up and Mysterio tries to safrice King to it but Lisa and Sid stop this by attacking Quentin and Hilda saves kIng. Mysterio is then sent into the path of the Hopsital Mosnter and is eaten alive by it. Hilda, Lisa , Sid and King all looked horrifed and Lisa states that is the real Quentin Beck as the androids were destroyed and she can tell as Lisa was tracking the andorids Mysterio had.

It's revealed that The Smoking Man sabotaged the andorids duplicates to get rid of Mysterio who turns out was growing suspcious of him. This death is treated with little care by his boss Dr.N Tropy upon being told by Nolan.
