Tuxedo Mask is a close ally of Sailor Moon and the other Sailor Senshi, fighting along with them and protect them at times. He is the alternate identity of Mamoru Chiba or Darien Shields depending on what version you follow. This is the original depiction of the character created by Naoko Takeuchi.
