Johnathan Tangelo is enjoying a nice walk when suddenly Unicron attacks. When John attempts to fight back, Megatron shows up and blasts him, allowing Unicron to curse him. This curse releases a being who has been sleeping within John for many thousands of years: Phantom Fienox.
The newly freed Phantom tries to recall the people who destroyed him, and the first person who comes to mind is his aunt, Ikari. He summons beings who had worked for him in his past life and sent them on a mission to locate----not harm----his aunt.
