The Darken Gathering[]
Within Gotham City, there was a man named Garfield Lynns who worked as a special effects pyrotechnician to help make his girlfriend, Cassidy, look cool as a better singer. After the accident had been cleaned up from the fire Garfield created, he was dumped by his girlfriend, burning his heart with desire for revenge of Cassidy not appreciating his art, from this day forth Garfield Lynns took on the mantle known as Firefly. He kidnapped Cassidy in an attempt to kill her, just to make sure his pyro effects aren’t seen as a work of insanity to the rest of the public, until Batman came along and ruined it. Working his time as a mercenary in Gotham, Firefly was recruited by Darkonda by being paid large amounts of money transferred to his account thanks to Gabriel Shear’s financial back up. Darkonda even offers Firefly to spread his destructive art of pyromania for the entire Multi-Universe to scream either in excitement or the raised voices of terror that have been brought upon the lives that would be killed by that sick pyromaniac’s display of the fields of fire created from his burning tools.
