Andros

"LET'S ROCKET!!" - Andros before morphing

Andros is the lead character in Power Rangers In Space.

He is portrayed by Christopher Khayman Lee.

Andros is a human from a colony world known as KO-35, and possesses telekinesis, which the ability to manipulate and move things with the mind. He is the older brother of Karone.

Andros serves as the Red Space Ranger.

"Red Battlized Ranger!"

The Red Battlized Ranger is Andros' Battlizer, accessed by using setting 03 on the Battlizer Gauntlet. This mode increases Andros' defense, strength, fire power, and gives him the ability to fly.

Battilzer Gauntlet

The Battlizer Gauntlet is Andros' special morpher-like device. It possesses three functions.

1. Energy Punches/Chops - Covers Andros' fists with lights of bright red energy, increasing the impacts of his fist attacks.
2. Laser Blast - Small laser capable of cutting through nets or stunning opponents.
3. Red Battlized Ranger - Activates the Battlized Armor Mode.

Distant Guardians Storyline

Andros will appear in part 4, saving Jack Sanderson from Majid Sadiq.

Relationships

Ashley Hammond

Ashley is Andros human girl partner and ally to begin with. Both of them develop some romantic linked each other, as the story progress, likely they are future couple.

Zhane

Zhane is Andros childhood and best friend. Zhane acts as his mentor especially when the two of them carry out their mission to eradicate the evil forces.

Karone

Karone is Andros little sister. When Karone was kidnapped by Darkonda, Andros felt guilty and traumatized as a child for not being able to save her. Karone, whose name was later changed to Astronema by Ecliptor, then had an enemy with him until she realized something odd. Astronema was later freed from evil influences along with Ecliptor who accompined help her escaped, but unfortunately they both was caught and brainwashed completely to become evil again by Darkonda to served Dark Specter. Towards the last episode, Astronema fights Andros and Andros accidentally makes her seriously injured while went dying, Andros regrets because of the accident causing lost his beloved sister, later on Ecliptor is enraged after he was freed from his reprogramming. Zordon later sacrifice himself, Ecliptor was killed however his best efforts come true as Astronema is purify revived and becomes his beloved sister Karone once again.

Zordon

Just like the Rangers that came before him, Zordon was a mentor and old friend of Andros. He was extremely upset that he had to sacrifice him, in order to wipe out the entire pure evil beings in the universe.
