Destro (real name Laird James McCullen Destro XXIV) is a member of COBRA and Cobra Commander's second in command henchman.
Meister of War[]
Enraged after hearing his superior, Cobra Commander, saying he is off the team, because he doesn't need him anymore, Destro went to devise his own schemes in taking over the Multi-Universe when he is approached by Johan Liebert offering him his friendship and invitation to join The Murderistic League, a group of violent and impulsive criminals that he can rightfully work with to show Cobra Commander that he can just be as great of a leader as he is, if not better. Finally founding his place in the Multi-Universe, Destro accepted his offer and became friends with Johan Liebert and his group as well as being promoted as his Fifth in command and weapons manufacturer, like providing his technological henchmen the Cobra B.A.T.S. for example. He also has his private mercenary military group Iron Grenadiers. Sometime after The Robotic Empire was destroyed, Johan Liebert had told Destro that Cobra Commander was killed and eaten by Mechuckles to which Destro responds in a laugh of disrespect towards his deceased master Cobra as he disliked him for being such an asshole towards him. Destro proves to be a great commander as he treats the the Murderistic League members with respect and to his own henchmen as well, even being more careful in fighting than Cobra Commander.
