Somehow he surivied the accidents and as a result he got into the Patriots wanting to emlniate the multiuniverse of not just pirates, but also those who are criminals as he believes criminals are thugs and can;t reform so his solution is to set them on fire (Indiana Jones Temple of Doom style) Beckett then decides to defeat his enemy Jack Sparrow who he has obessively pursues but he is defeated by him and Sally. Jack kills him afterwards
