After a series of misadventures in the Starfleet Academy and on the Enterprise, Kirk was finally given command of the ship as a reward for saving it. Since then, he'd been boldly going where no man has gone before, his closest friends being Mr. Spock and Dr.McCoy. Sadly, their ship was attacked by Khan, and Kirk, Spock and McCoy were the only ones who managed to escape. Now Captain Kirk is determined to get this war over with so that he can have his beloved ship and crew back.
